I experienced the same. For the story the Music accompanying it sometimes disturbs ability to hear the french spoken and it affects my concentration.
I wish I could hear certain words more clearly
I am grateful for this opportunity to learn a new language. I especially appreciate this orientation as it helps put in focus the reasons why previous attempts I have made at studying a new language have not been successful.
Today’s class was very informative and It cleared the impression I had about children being able to speak new language faster than adult… Apparently everyone can learn a new language

This class was really informative as well as interactive though I’m kinda learning slowly as I don’t seem pick on the words fast enough.

Very interesting , I am having a new approach to learn language.
Lesson taken from this lecture: Think through your answers, don’t guess and don’t try to memorize.
Will be going back to listen to the audio story on slow play, that way i will be able to pick out more words.
